Planning a destination wedding and want to get the legal piece out of the way in advance? Having a spiritual or religious marriage at an institution not able to register your legal marriage for you? Elopements are more fun and flexible than city hall!
Elopement/Paper signing:
This includes a short declaration to meet Marriage Act requirements, and completion of legal paperwork. Only two witnesses are present. Pricing ranges from $300 – $375 depending on the location and timing. Note that this does not entail a ceremony, just the legal declarations and registration of your paperwork. If you need to put in a request for expedited paperwork due to immigration reasons, an additional charge for the time to organize the necessary paperwork may apply, and you will need to cover the required courier costs – contact me to discuss your needs. If you wish for a short ceremony, fees are less than a full wedding but a surcharge applies for the ceremony script preparation time.
